Mitchell's Extension Update - 2017

Hey bloggers! Recently in extension we have been learning about NASA and Space travel. Last term we also had a trip to the Hoyts Cinemas in Sylvia Park to watch the movie release "Hidden Figures". You can check the video for that you can find right over - here: https://vimeo.com/209294242. Anyways we have been making space games and also making characters for our games too.

I have personally been learning about the text 5 changes in Space travel and how the first man in space was Russian astronaut: Yuri Gagarin. Here is the link to the text I am reading: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2013/04/130412-space-travel-technologies-yuri-gagarin/

His mission required something that could propel his spacecraft fast enough to sustain a speed of 17,000 miles per hour.
This now made it possible to send men/astronauts to the moon. Russian astronaut Yuri Gagarin, was the first man in space completed a circuit around the earth in the spaceship Vostok on April the 21st 1961.
Before in the old days spacemen were uncomfortable, but nowadays they have their own choice of - exercise bikes, barbeque beef brisket — even a choice of toilet papers.

Thanks for reading!
