Mitchell - Extension ( Doctors ) 2018

Hey Bloggers! Last term the Yr 7 & 8 Extension group were asked to choose groups and research about how pollution can affect the human body and the environment. Our group were the Doctors and had to research how pollution affects the human body.

We also created a small mini movie to show how this can affect parts of your body including an interview with our school nurse and mini animations we created on our Hyperstudio Stacks.

|| Mitchell - Visual Mihi || - 2017

Hello! Here is my Visual Mihi I have created on Hyperstudio. We have been asked to draw down 4 things that is important/special to us. Let's begin! In the top left corner are some flags which represent my culture/nationalities. It is the Tongan and Fijian flag flying on a pole with a small icon - a coconut tree which represents the islands. In the top right corner is a Bible and a cross in the sky which represents the lord Jesus, my religion Christianity. In the bottom left corner is letters going across which spells Family. Underneath it is a big red heart with some diamonds on them which means I love my family/them. In the bottom right corner is some icons such as a plane,suitcase,coconut tree,camera,and the statue of librety which represents Travel. I love to travel. And the last one in the middle is a drawing of me.

Mitchell Summer learning journey Day # 12

Good morning blog viewers. Today is day 12 of the Summer learning journey. Today I will be learning about different TV shows. Lets begin!

Activity 1 -As seen on TV
I have been asked to watch a popular television show from the country I have decided to choose from. I will be watching a Japanese television show which I heard is very popular. The name of the show is  Anpanman: Ironman vs. Japanese Ghost .  I have just finished watching the episode and now I have to write a review: 1. The name of the TV show was "Ironman VS Japanese Ghost". 2. What I liked about the show ? : What I liked about the show was that Ironman fought the ants to save his friends. 3. What you didn't like about the show ? : I didn't like that he kept saving his friends over and over again.

I would rate the show ** stars because it was kind of boring and more of a TV show for kids under 5 in Japan. 

Activity 2 - Favourite TV show
Rachel has just told me her favourite TV show named Veep,about a woman who becomes the President of the USA. It must be hilarious. Well I have been asked to tell you my favourite TV show right now. It is The amazing race. It is about 11 teams of 2 who find clues to participate in activities to get the next clue in order to get to the end to win. The remaining teams who are last get disqualified. 

Bonus - Popular NZ TV show
I have been asked to post a YouTube link of a popular TV show in NZ right now. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eK306MdWnO4. The link goes to an episode from the TV show Jono and ben. In the episode they are with NZ singer Stan walker at Mc Donald's. Stan has a microphone in his ear while Jono and ben tell him to do silly things to customers as Stan pretends to work at Mc Donald's.
