Cross Country Advice

Are you having trouble with running? Is Cross Country coming up? Well here is some advice/tips for you to take.

First things first you could start by eating healthy foods on a daily basis such as fruits, vegetables and more foods that provide protein and energy. Healthy foods help your body by keeping it healthy, so this is really important if you are going to run a cross country race. Fruits provide a lot of energy and this would be great especially for a run.

Secondly you could start by drinking water. Water is really important and helps you keep hydrated. Keeping hydrated while running is really important especially if you get tired a lot during a run. If you don’t drink water your body will easily get dehydrated. Dehydration can lead and cause to bad headaches or you could get really sick. Your body will send signs as to thirst for water, keeping hydrated is good for your body and can get your body moving, so next time consider drinking water. You don’t want to be running around with a headache.

Also you could start pacing yourself. Pacing yourself is really important even when you haven’t ran as long as the course. You could prepare yourself and get your body use to the course by running similar laps or simply jogging or walking along the course for daily exercise. This is good for your body so you know what to expect on the actual day. Next time you run a race practice and run around the course before the actual run. That would be really useful.

Finally one of the most important things you could do is to sleep. Yes sleeping is really good for your body and you need a lot of rest for your brain. Sleeping can help your body by restarting and growing. While sleeping your body can help your brain with thinking and growing as well. Your brain helps you with everything and also with a lot if everyday tasks . Your brain can also have control on running on the course and knowing which way to go during the run.
