|| Mitchell - Visual Mihi || - 2017

Hello! Here is my Visual Mihi I have created on Hyperstudio. We have been asked to draw down 4 things that is important/special to us. Let's begin! In the top left corner are some flags which represent my culture/nationalities. It is the Tongan and Fijian flag flying on a pole with a small icon - a coconut tree which represents the islands. In the top right corner is a Bible and a cross in the sky which represents the lord Jesus, my religion Christianity. In the bottom left corner is letters going across which spells Family. Underneath it is a big red heart with some diamonds on them which means I love my family/them. In the bottom right corner is some icons such as a plane,suitcase,coconut tree,camera,and the statue of librety which represents Travel. I love to travel. And the last one in the middle is a drawing of me.

Mitchell - New Zealand Holiday 2016/2017

Hello bloggers. I had a very fun experience up North with my family. We had an amazing time! We drove all the way up to Tutukaka which is very close to Whangarei. We also spent New years there and it was so cool. Heaps of fireworks banging and sparkling in the air. It was very fun. We camped at Tutukaka Holiday park  and it was a really good holiday park which is really cool and recommended. 

Here is a picture of us going to Tutukaka. At Tutukaka we went to some really cool beaches such as Sandy Bay. There was very big waves and really Sandy sand! Here are some pictures of it. 

We also had a awesome Christmas and we had really cool gifts from family members. Here is some pictures from our Christmas eve lunch. Me and my sisters also took a picture with Santa at the mall. 

On the way back from Tutukaka we decide to stop off at Mangawhai heads to see our cousins who were also having a holiday. They stayed in a bach. Here are some pictures. We also went to the Mangawhai Heads reserve beach. It was really fun too. 
Here is a picture of all of us at the bach our cousins and other family were staying at.

Yesterday we said bye to our Fijian cousins who came to visit. We said bye to them at the airport last night. They also flew in the morning at 2:00 am. Here are some pictures: ------------------------------------------->

Mitchell - Summer learning journey Day # 9

Activity 1 - Meet my family
I have been asked to introduce my family. I have met Rachel's family and they are a very cool family. My family is made up of 6 amazing people (including me). My father Lau is the oldest and is very strong and smart. My mother Wini is the second oldest who is very loving and supportive. Now my siblings,I have 3 sisters who are very lovely but sometimes they are very annoying! Their names are Levonah,Maddison and Leonora. Now me the oldest of the kids. I am very intelligent and brave. That is my family. Oh I forgot my dog Clifford he is 5 years old. He can also jump very high fences. 

Activity 2 - Big family
If I was one of the Duggar children would I like it? Here is one reason of why I would like it and not like it. I would like it because there are heaps of children in the house to play with. I may not like it because siblings can be annoying sometimes. 




Bonus - Family member Interview
I have been asked to interview a family member. I have chosen to interview my mum:

1. What is your name? : Wini
2. Where were you born? : Wellington
3. How many siblings do you have? : 5 siblings from my mother's side and also 9 from my father's side.
4. What is your favourite thing about living in NZ? : The greenery and the beaches.
5.  If you could travel anywhere in the world,where would you go and why? : Jerusalem because she wants to see where Jesus walked.
