Activity 1 -As seen on TV
I would rate the show ** stars because it was kind of boring and more of a TV show for kids under 5 in Japan.
Activity 2 - Favourite TV show
Bonus - Popular NZ TV show
Thanks for watching

I am a Year 8 student at Pt England School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 3 and my teacher is Mrs Tele'a.
Mitchell - This is fantastic to see you posting during the school holidays and I really am impressed by the quality of the post. I really like how you've included your own favourite TV shows but also included details of some of the shows that I have never heard of and that makes me want to research and find out about it. Ironman vs Japanese Ghost sounds great! You've got a fantastic blog and are doing some outstanding work. Really, really impressed by what you've done and keep up the great work!

Kia ora Mr Webb and the children of Room Three at Auroa Primary School,
DeleteThank you so much for taking the time to post such a detailed and thoughtful comment! A number of students from schools in the original Manaiakalani cluster are taking part in a holiday blogging programme called a 'Summer Learning Journey' (https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/welcome). We're learning all about the foods, languages, customs, traditions, etc. of people living in countries around the world.
It's a lot of fun! We hope that you are also having a fun, restful and relaxing summer holiday.
All the best!
Rachel (and the Summer Learning Journey programme team)
Hi Mitchell,
ReplyDeleteWow! Congratulations! Your blogs are attracting interest from students and teachers around New Zealand. That is wonderful :)
As Mr Webb mentioned, you have created a wonderful post that is informative and entertaining. I enjoyed watching the Youtube clip that you posted for the Jono and Ben episode and will look forward to learning more about The Amazing Race when I get home from work tonight. I have heard of the programme but never watched it. It sounds really interesting. I love to travel and would find the scenery and tasks that the teams complete really interesting, I'm sure!
You are making great progress on your blogging journey. I can't believe that you're already on Day #12. Great work!
I'll look forward to tuning in tomorrow to read your blog!
Until then,
Rachel :)
Kia ora again Mitchell!
ReplyDeleteI really like this activity and I also quite like the amazing race. I also really like Jono and Ben, they're hilarious... most of the time. Great writing and I really appreciate the extra effort you took to put in some pictures.
I don't know if you've seen it, but this is one of my favourite clips.

This activity reminds me of a game show in Korea I used to watch called Running Man, it is basically a bunch of silly games where the normal cast- which is made up of comedians, actors, and a couple of models/actors goes up against other Korean celebrities. The final game is that they usually run around an office building trying to catch each other and rip the names off the back of their shirts (but obviously with interesting rules that always change.)
In the clip below they have to roll as many times as they can to the end of the plank and try not to fall in. The clip starts at a funny bit, but if you want to watch the rest just scan back.
